While I'm always happy to offer my opinions and thoughts on all things people-related, today I shall make an exception.
Instead, I'm handing over the blog to six of our clients as a one-off. Each one will share their experiences and successes on the Leading Healthy Teams programme launched by The 21st CLC over 18 months ago. Here goes:
Graham Hill, Project Director at Chubb Fire and Security:
“From the SDI through to the workshops and toolkit activities there was total buy-in from everyone. Leaders and teams benefitted equally from the relationship intelligence and positive interactions.
The team performance surveys registered significant progress and improvement against our objectives. Similarly, the HPC project team came out on top as part of the recently published company-wide engagement survey. This included increased scores across all key areas.
There is a direct correlation between the work undertaken by The 21st CLC and the improvements in staff development, engagement, performance and customer delivery. The whole experience has been overwhelmingly positive for me, other leaders and the wider HPC project team. So much so, that we wish to continue this investment in other areas to ensure the momentum is maintained for our staff and customers.
Steve Hanslow, Head of Vertical Sales at Siemens Digital Industries:
“Leading Healthy Teams has built a better connection between our leaders and teams. We’ve seen greater alignment and collaboration across the sales function at every level. The programme has also positioned our sales managers as leaders and mentors to their teams, while employee satisfaction has improved as a direct result of The 21st CLCs interventions.
The one-to-one's and group discussion got the team thinking. Everybody expressed an opinion, we pushed the boundaries, and there was plenty of healthy debate.
Our engagement with The 21st CLC has been incredibly rewarding for myself and every leader. I would have no hesitation in recommending the programme to any organisation seeking to effectively develop their leaders and teams.”
Chris Scarr, Ramboll's UK Head of Business Finance and Global Head of PM Support:
“Working with The 21st CLC has given our department access to specialist and proven support at a leadership and team level. This successful relationship has developed over many years and is still delivering continued value for everyone to the present day.
Our investment in a combination of leadership coaching, employee engagement initiatives and relationship intelligence has enabled the team to work more closely and effectively.
As a result of the employee engagement programme, the department has managed to reduce staff turnover and increase engagement by 12.3%. This has positively impacted on productivity, efficiency, and performance.”
Phil Quayle, Lead Chemist at MoltexFLEX:
“My experience of Leading Healthy Teams has been a hugely positive one. I would highly recommend this programme to any business seeking to advance the skills and effectiveness of their leaders and teams.
I’ve attended one-day and one-week leadership training courses previously that simply don’t offer the value that Leading Healthy Teams does. Its combination of dedicated coaching, relationship intelligence, problem-solving, surveys and assessments get to the very heart of your leadership and team challenges over an extended period.
“This gives you the time to properly assess, review, reflect, act and measure, and in doing so, foster effective leaders, healthy teams, and improved performance.”
John Hill, Head of Operations at Cortech Developments:
“The 21st CLC delivered an outstanding leadership training program that has undeniably transformed elements of my approach to leadership. The return on investment from this training is evident in the enhanced efficiency, stronger team dynamics and ultimately the positive impact it will contribute to our bottom line. I would recommend the 21st CLC and this leadership training to anyone seeking an experience that goes beyond theoretical concepts, providing practical tools for success in today’s business world.
The programme not only enhanced my skills but also equipped me with additional leadership strategies. It emphasised the importance of collaboration, innovation, and fostering a positive team culture. I am now even better prepared to lead with confidence, navigate challenges, and inspire my team towards shared success.”
Richard Jones, Managing Director at AMS:
“Leading Healthy Teams and its series of interventions has been game-changing for our business. Reflecting on where we were, to where we are now – it’s like night and day.
The entire team is more connected, cohesive and happy. This has translated into significantly improved wellbeing, engagement, productivity and performance. We are now operating more seamlessly and effectively than ever before, and our customers are benefiting as a result. The turnaround has been remarkable and that is down to the great work of The 21st CLC and every single member of our business.
From a personal perspective, I’ve benefitted enormously too. Chris has been a significant influence on me with his coaching and mentoring. I’ve been able to bounce around ideas with him, gain different perspectives, understand the bigger strategic picture and manage change effectively. He’s helped me to do less and finish more, which has made a real impact. We now have a robust structure in place and a very strong team to support continued growth.”
